July 31st 1970 was a historic day for Rum. This date marked the end of the Royal Navy’s daily ration or ‘daily tot’, as it was known. 
Due to the sailors love of their daily ration, this date would become known as ‘Black Tot Day’ -  marking the end of a centuries old tradition, that had kept sailors of the Royal Navy in fine spirits as they navigated the high seas. 

 

Black Tot Finest Caribbean Rum is inspired by tradition and the motivation to blend delicious rums from around the world. Head Blender, Oliver Chilton, has developed a recipe featuring some of the world’s finest rums while creating a new and individual style. With nothing added or taken away, the final blend has been selected for its ability to allow the individual flavours of each rum to shine.
Black Tot Finest Caribbean Rum balances the fruity, honeyed notes of Barbadian rum, the full-bodied elements of Guyanese rum and the intense, funkiness of Jamaican rum.
Black Tot is great neat, but equally at home in some of our favourite cocktails.

INGREDIENTS
20ml Campari 
50ml fresh Pineapple juice
12.5ml Lime juice 
5ml Honey 
METHOD 
Add all ingredients and shake. 
Strain into a highball glass over ice. 
Garnish with two pineapple leafs.
